and more…
I became a piano teacher many years ago after first graduating with an Associate Degree from an accredited music college, and then earning a Bachelor Degree in Music and Pedagogy in another – both schools in the former USSR, a country highly regarded for its serious approach to music education.
I have played the piano for 41 years, studied the craft in school for 19 and have many years of teaching experience under my belt.
Meanwhile, I never stopped improving my own performing skills.
My repertoire mostly consists of music pieces by Chopin, Rachmaninov, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
I sincerely believe in the role that music plays in raising a well-balanced, successful young person in today’s society.
My teaching style is based on the great traditions developed by famous Russian pianists and educators.
I teach my students based on their natural abilities and their proficiency level, which I am able to determine early on.
Everybody can learn to play the piano as long as they are willing to apply certain effort and get in the habit of a daily practice, whether it is 10 minutes or 2 hours.
Are you ready to travel to the World of Music? If yes, please, let me know. I will be happy to be your guide.
